June 4, 2009 Fundraiser: First Precinct Community Council and the New York City Police Museum

On June 4th the First Precinct Community Council and the New York City Police Museum held an event honoring our leaders of the community and to raise money and awareness for the NYC Police Museum’s Hall of Heroes Memorial.

Three important leaders of our community, Sheldon Silver, Raymond Gindi and Deputy Inspector Anthony Bologna, were honored. Their commitment to improving and helping downtown is remarkable.

The New York City Police Museum’s Hall of Heroes Memorial project is to completely redesign the current memorial; create a place of honor for the NYPD officers who have fallen in the line of duty.

At the June 4th event the 1st Precinct Council was able to raise enough money to purchase a plaque in the upcoming Hall of Heroes Memorial for a fallen officer from the 1st Precinct.

Below are photos from the event.
